About Booking Boss

  • Booking Boss is a powerful system designed to streamline bookings and capacity management processes through a single platform. It enables businesses to increase bookings, drive more sales, expand their reach, and reduce administrative workload effectively.

The challenge

After raising $2 million in Series A funding, Australian startup Booking Boss was gearing up for international expansion.

But first, they wanted to build a strong, unique voice within the tourism industry.

The approach

The Booking Boss team had a solid grasp of its own competitive advantages, and a crystal clear picture of the buying persona. But it can be hard to see the wood for the trees when trying to articulate your brand promise, which is why we jumped in to help.

After some initial customer and industry research, we held Brand chemistry’s proprietary brand workshop, a high-energy half-day that resulted in giving us the unique advantages Booking Boss had to offer.

During the interpretation stage, we soon realised that Booking Boss was so much more than the standard online booking system that Booking Boss’ competitors offer. In fact, Booking Boss owned a category all on its own, as an all-inclusive growth platform for tour operators. Booking Boss helps owners to Get Further in their business by doing more with less, Get There Faster by accessing greater sales and marketing benefits, and to Feel Freer by being able to make more informed expansion decisions while still enjoying the ride.

The brand identity refresh via simple mood boards followed, but Booking Boss entrusted Brand chemistry to develop the brand in a live environment, during the build of the company’s website. Custom design and photography helped us to bring the feeling of the brand to life, while the Hubspot COS website platform made SEO optimisation and country personalisation a breeze.
